The building of the Keisuke Kinoshita Memorial Museum (Sakae-machi, Naka-ku) is a prominent feature in the area. The Spanish-style building was originally built as the Hamamatsu Banker's Association Center in 1930. It was designed by Nakamura Yoshihei, who also designed the buildings of Shizuoka Bank Hamamatsu Branch and the Shizuoka Prefecture Government Office. The building that survived WWII is an important historical landmark.
