Hamanako Kanzanji Museum (Hamanako Kanzanji Bijyutsu Hakubutsukan) was opened for further development in tourism of Kanzanji Spring in October 1987. It exhibits Tokugawa family associated treasures and oriental paintings masterpieces owned by Kaikatei, a hotel at Lake Hamana.
 
Contents
The museum exhibits Nihonga (Japanese paintings) from pre-Edo-era by artists such as Ogata Kōrin, Honami Kōetsu, and Tani Buncho are exhibited. In addition, it also displays items of Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu, such as Weapons, tools, and letters. Japanese tea cups made by master craftsmen such as Tawaraya Sōtatsu, Ogata Kenzan, and Nonomura Ninsen are on display as well. The first floor is a café and a gallery. (Free to enter)
 
Remarks
You can have tea with the great view of Lake Hamana at the café. Solo exhibitions and concerts are available to perform.
