Overview
Takayanagi Kenjiro was a supportive professor at Hamamatsu Koto Kogyo Gakko (present Shizuoka University). He built the world's first all-electric television receiver.He was awarded with the Order of Culture in 1981. He was named honorary citizen of Hamamtsu City on July 1, 1987.
