Overview
He served in local administrations as a councilor of the councils of Keta Village, Haruno Town, and Shizuoka Prefecture. He was a chairman of council of Shizuoka Prefecture. He also contributed to the promotion of local industries as the president of the Shizuoka Prefecture Forestry Cooprative Association. He was named honorary citizen of Haruno Town (present Haruno-cho, Tenryu-ku, Hamamatsu) on November 3, 1987.
