Overview
Shirai Tetsuzo was a stage director of Takarazuka Revue. He directed "Kin-no-Hane"(Golden Feathers) at his second year in the company. Many of his works were very successful. Particularly, the German song he translated, "Sumire no Hana Sakukoro", is still one of the reprehensive song of Takarazuka. There is the Shirai Tetsuzo Memorial Hall in Haruno-cho. He was named honorary citizen of Haruno Town (present Haruno-cho, Tenryu-ku, Hamamatsu) on June 17, 1982.
