Overview
Since he was elected as honorary deputy mayor of Kumakiri Village, he continued working in local governance. He also served as the mayor of the village, a councilor of the Shizuoka Prefecture Council, and the chairman of the council. He undertook the maintenance of roads in Tenryu, Haruno, Sakuma, and Misakubo. He was named honorary citizen of Haruno Town (present Haruno-cho, Tenryu-ku, Hamamatsu) on June 3, 1967.
