Time December 15 & 16
The Akiha Shrine is long known for its worship of the deity for fire prevention. The hibuse-no-matsuri (lit. ceremony of fire prevention) is held at midnight on December 16, featuring three beautifully and stately performed ritual dances: bow dance, sword dance, and fire dance.
