Time 1st Saturday and Sunday in April
The Hime-kaido road was often used by women during the Edo period as it was less dangerous than the main route (Tokaido Road). The parade reproduces the scene of princesses taking the path. Hundreds of guards follow the princess proceeding the street full of cherry blossoms.
