Overview
The Sentogamine Castle or Sentogamine-jo stood on a mountain known as Sendoyama located northeast of the Makayaji Temple.

The castle was built during the Northern and Southern Courts period along the Kamoe Castle, Oidaira Castle, and Mitake Castle in order to enforce the power of the Southern Courts army led by Prince Munenaga in this region.

Ruins of moats and mounds remain.
