Overview
Sugiura invented the gastrocamera.
 
Biography
Sugiura developed the camera to fulfill the need from a surgeon in Tokyo University Hospital, Uji Tatsurō. He succeeded on producing it in 1950 after researches and developments on rubber tubes, compact flash lights, lenses, and more.
