Overview
The Nakadori Site, located on a terrace in Hamakita, is a settlement site belonging to the late Initial to beginning of Early Jomon periods and the Kamakura to Edo periods. The site contains many of roana (fire pits composed of a large hole and a small hole that are connected) and shusekiro (fire pits filled with many stones). These installations are thought to be used for cooking.
